FAQ
What should I wear?
It's your session, so wear what you'd like! I advise my clients to wear what makes them comfortable & confident. If you need some ideas, Pinterest is a great place to start!
When will I get my photos & how?
After the day of the session, you can expect your photos to be done within two (2) weeks. They will be delivered to you in a personalized gallery in which you will be able to download from, unless otherwise noted.
Can you be a second shooter?
Absolutely! First of all, I'm honored, and secondly, what better way to learn than being on scene doing it?! Contact me to chat - I'll be ecstatically waiting.
Where do you recommend printing photos?
I hear great things about Amazon! I have seen the results personally and they turned out beautifully with the edits I've made. You can also shop through the gallery once they are sent to you for high quality prints, customized cards and personalized gifts.
Do you use props?
If it's right for the season, I will try my best! You may bring your own to use and we can discuss what will work with your session.

Will my photos be edited?
Yep! I go through the batch to pick out the best ones, then go through each photo and edit them one by one.
Do you Travel out of the Des Moines greater area?
Yes! I'd love for you to have your session at the place you want it. I do have a fee to reimburse me for any travel expenses. Each fee is calculated specifically for the required travel so it will vary. I know there are a lot of expenses in life so I try to find the most cost-effective way possible.
Do you shoot weddings?
I have just started offering weddings. Please send me an email to see package options as your day is uniquely catered to you.
What's your cancellation policy?
At the time of booking, there will be a non-refundable 50% deposit to secure your spot & serves as a cancellation fee. Life happens and if you need to reschedule, let me know at least 48 hours before the scheduled session and your deposit can be credited towards the rescheduled session within the next 4 weeks.
In the event that I need to cancel, you will get your deposit back and we can reschedule for a different time.

How do I pay?
Currently, I accept venmo and credit cards through Stripe.
After you book a session, an invoice will be sent via email and everything you need to know will be on there.
